This intensive study day is intended for Practice Managers, Practice Nurses and Advanced Nurse Practitioners who have received previous IPC training and have an understanding of key IPC issues in primary care.  The day is intended to provide opportunities for discussion, debate and appraisal of the challenges of achieving compliance with revised fundamental standards and specifically the Code of Practice for the prevention and control of infections. 

The day will provide plenty of opportunity for sharing experiences of developing relationships with local commissioners (CCGs) and local Area Teams (NHS England) as well as local authority providers (Directors of Public Health) and the specialists at Public Health England (previously Health Protection Agency). Many different service models are evolving but the problems relating to IP & C remain the same. How are you tackling them in your practice?
